Company Introduction
Hellenic Table Tennis Federation is the governing body of table tennis in Greece. In addition to representing and co-ordinating, they are also responsible for administering, marketing, and growing sports.
They are also incharge of keeping track of the official rankings of the athletes and teams. All the national events related to table tennis are handled by them.
Problem
HTTF being the governing body of table tennis in Greece is responsible for following activities:
- Managing tournaments
- Registration of athletes
- Calculating number of draws
- Preparation of tournament scores
- Publishing final match results
- Managing ranking of athletes
The Federation was doing all these activities manually which left a lot of possibility for error, and required a lot of manpower. Plus, it was tedious and very time consuming to get the tasks done.
Goal
HTTF wanted to automate all of their processes and tasks in order to improve efficiency. They sought a system that was error-free and could produce results on a real-time basis.
Solution
After having in-depth understanding of HTTFs operations, we knew that only tailor-made solutions will work for them.

To move things further, we submitted a blueprint of the project to give them a better understanding of the solution. Our program will automate everything for them right from managing tournaments to registering the athletes to calculating the match scores to publishing scores for matches. All in one place without having the hassles of dealing with several things.
Everything will be algorithm driven that will produce accurate results.
Hence, we created a unique web application for them called “Table Tennis Tournament & Ranking Manager.”
Result
HTTF now proudly conducts its entire operations through “Table Tennis Tournament & Ranking Manager.”
They are now more confident in the match results, their costs of operations were cut by 50% due to automation, and they were able to improve their public image.
With the launch of the new portal, they were able to excite the sponsors, and now more sponsors are willing to place their ads on their portal. Resulting in more revenue for the federation.
